First Aid appointed person - 1 day
The One Day First Aid Appointed Person course is ideal for small businesses looking for an Appointed Person status in accordance with the Health and Safety (First Aid) Regulations and can be adapted to suit a particular audience.

This course aims to supply the delegates with a basic knowledge of First Aid and includes both theory and practical sessions.
Areas Covered
  • Making a Diagnosis
  • Recovery Position – Practical
  • Illness (epileptic fits, asthma, diabetes etc.)
  • CPR – Practical
  • CPR including Chocking
  • Bandaging (dressing, elevated and triangular sling)
  • Burns and Scalds
  • Causes of Unconsciousness
  • Heart Attack and Treatment
  • Bleeding and Action
  • Fractures
Course Structure
One full day focusing on the eleven modules described above.
Course Requirements
This course is only for a First Aid Appointed Person certificate and not for a fully qualified First Aider.
